Doctor Who Star Peal Mackie has announced that she and her partner Kam Chhokar are engaged.
The Bill Potts actor, who has also appeared in titles such as Friday night dinner and The long call, shared the happy news on Instagram yesterday (January 19), as she posted a photo of their respective rings, along with a cute Polaroid shot of the pair.
“Be honest, how many of you had bets on what was going on? Yes, we’re En-GAY-ged!!!💍🥂🍾 😁💥 @kmchhkr I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I CANNOT DON’T WAIT UNTIL YOU’RE MY WIFE! 💖💜💙,” Mackie captioned the image.

Mackie, 34, and Kam celebrated a birthday in August 2021. On the 12th, the former posted a close-up photo of the latter relaxing on a lounge chair, with a bright caption that read: “Happy birthday to my person absolute favorite in the whole world.The most beautiful woman I have ever met, inside and out.
“And also the dumbest thing. @kmchhkr you stole my heart, please never give it back. I love you so fucking much baby, here’s to taking elevator selfies together forever.”
