Shopping online can definitely be a gamble.
Clothing may not fit or look completely different from online promotional images.
Unfortunately, both were the case for a woman who learned not to trust online shopping the hard way.
Jessica Dolan share in a video that she was buying a white top to wear to a wedding.
She found a pearl-encrusted sheer corset and bought it for $33.
However, the top that arrived was far from what she expected based on the photos.
Instead, she received a cheap cropped top printed with a bead design – no beads were actually attached to the top as the photos suggested.
Some people have trolled Dolan for having too high expectations for a top that only costs $33, like the one who wrote, “Man. For $33. Did you really think you’d get THIS??”
Someone else commented, “I mean. For that price? Lol what did you expect?”
“K but the price….it’s for a bag of pearls alone. Don’t expect real for $33 sorry,” another comment read.
In response, Dolan wrote in the comments that she was “optimistic” and added, “I expected them to at least try.”
She also wrote that she was hoping for a refund and filed a claim with PayPal.
In a sequel video, Dolan tried and failed to put the top on and said, “See? I trust online shopping too much.”
Meanwhile, a woman also fell for the online shopping trap when she bought a viral dress that arrived so small people think she only got the arm part.
Additionally, a bride was trolled for buying her wedding dress online and expecting it to be perfect.
