Amy Schneider spoke to USA TODAY and said the jewelry she saw wearing Peril! It’s a gift she received from Geneviève, her girlfriend, on their first anniversary as a couple. Genevieve told Schneider. “Every woman should have a pearl necklace.” Schneider said she wore the pearl pendant for the first taping, and it was a nice reminder of Genevieve to have with her throughout the competition.

This is so cute! With contestants filming multiple episodes a day and having to stay on top of their mental game all the time, I imagine the Peril! The atmosphere can be very stressful. Amy Schneider left Ohio for On Peril!, she and Genevieve may have known this would be their first split, but they couldn’t expect her to knock on the door anytime soon for second place all-time for consecutive games won. With 33 wins, Schneider recently surpassed 2019 champion James Holzhauer’s 32. Matt Amodio’s position is also in trouble, as he won 38 games before being dethroned. Schneider has a lot to do before reaching the final. all-time recordCurrent Peril!Host Ken Jennings has won 78 straight games.

Amy Schneider’s $1,111,800 in regular season earnings is good for fourth all-time behind her compatriot Peril!Legends Matt Amodio and James Holzhauer, as well as Ken Jennings. The fact that Schneider’s impressive streak followed Amodio’s so closely (with Jonathan Fisher knocking down Amodio and going on his own 11-game run) caused fans – and those most senior behind the scenes at Peril! — to wonder if there’s a reason for all the recent successes. As fans wondered if the clues were getting easier, executive producer Michael Davies assured viewers that wasn’t it, and the writers continued to expand the variety of material contestants should know.
