In his recent interview with The New York Times, Eddie Vedder remembers working at a club in San Diego, where he helped load equipment for bands. Speaking on the same subject, the 57-year-old singer said: “I would end up going to shows I didn’t choose to go to – bands that hogged MTV in the late 80s.” He added: “The metal bands that – I’m trying to be nice – I despised. ‘Girls, Girls, Girls’ and Mötley Crüe you. I hated. I hated how it made guys look like. I hated the way women looked. It was so empty.

Nikki Six, who has courted several controversies in the past, returned to the diss and tweeted, “Made me laugh today reading how much the Pearl Jam singer hated @MotleyCrue. Now considering they’re one of the most boring bands in history, that’s kind of a compliment, isn’t it? million.
