North Fork Breast Health Coalition’s Pink Pearl Gala Honoring Keri Stromski and the Peconic River Sportsman’s Club

The annual Pink Peal Gala hosted by the North Fork Breast Health Coalition to celebrate breast cancer survivors, providers and caregivers will be held Friday, April 8 from 6-10 p.m. at East Wind Long Island in Wading River.

The event will include a cocktail party, seated dinner and dancing to music by DJ Phil of Make Some Noise DJs.

The Peconic River Sportsman’s Club will receive the Community Spirit Award for its work raising funds for Long Island breast cancer coalitions.

Jamesport’s Keri Lynn Stromski, who valiantly battled stage IV breast cancer, will receive the first Medal of Valor posthumously. His family should accept the award.

Attendees are encouraged to wear pink or teal. Seats for the event will cost $125 per person or $95 for breast cancer survivors. Tickets can be purchased by calling the coalition office in Riverhead at (631) 208-8889. For corporate sponsorship or to contribute to a gift basket, contact Event Chair Melanie McEvoy Zuhoski at (917) 699-5948 or email [email protected]

This year’s draw will be held socially distanced at the organization’s office at 185 Old Country Road in Riverhead. The gift baskets are in preview at the office from April 1 to 3 and during the gala. Those unable to attend the gala can still enter the raffle, which will benefit the Keri Lynn Stromski Stage IV Breast Cancer Research and Support Fund.

This year’s gala underwriter is the Simmons Point Group of James Montgomery Scott LLC led by Gary Lukachinski.
