Orlando Concert Picks This Weekend: Wolf-Face, The Darkness, Pearl and the Oysters | Orlando Music News | Orlando

If you go, be safe, be cool.

Wolf-Face 10th Anniversary Show: These Tampa cult heroes play punk rock while dressed as an all-Teen Wolf basketball team. If you don’t know anything more about them, that alone should be enough incentive to check them out. But if you know them, then you know their shows are a total hoot – uh, howl. With soaring anthems, a huge sense of fun and, once again, wolf faces, these guys know how to go wild.

For their 10th anniversary, you know Wolf Face will come a little more. Notable openings are You Vandal from Gainesville and Vicious Dreams from Orlando. (8 p.m., Saturday, April 9, Will’s Pub, $10)

Darkness: If there were ever times you needed escape, these are them, baby. Few serve the glory of classic rock with such flamboyance and excess as these British peacocks. An orgy of guitars, falsetto and wardrobe, their shows push glam rock to the blurry line between true belief and self-parody. And unlike Greta Van Fleet, their ridicule isn’t unintentional. (6 p.m. Sunday, April 10, The Beacham, $32.50-$38.50)

Pearl and oysters

Luna Luna, Dent May, Pearl and the oysters: This relaxing Bill is a distinguished trio of easy-listening indie pop. Dallas band Luna Luna specializes in slinky pop zephyrs with R&B grooves. Dent May has become an indie darling with his wonderful pop mannerisms and soft-rock tinges, but perhaps the most notable feature is the return of Florida band Pearl & the Oysters. Since moving from Gainesville to LA, their space pop lounge – akin to Stereolab for the Jetsons – has been released by labels like Burger and Feeltrip. (7 p.m. Monday, April 11, Henao Center Sound Garden, $16)
