Pearl Jam has finally announced the brand new dates for its North American tour, originally scheduled for 2020 but abandoned due to lockdowns related to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The first leg of this tour is scheduled for May for select West Coast and Southwest shows, and the second leg will take place in September and will see shows at multiple venues across Canada, on the East Coast and as far away as Oklahoma. .
They also announced that Josh Klinghoferformer guitarist of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, will open for the band as part of his solo project Pluralone.
According to the tour announcement, the band will also pursue strategies to offset their environmental impact from the trip by purchasing carbon credits up to “$200 per ton” of carbon consumed. They will also educate curious fans on a more “comprehensive” environmental plan.
They will also release a “limited number of premium tickets” to the public to reduce the overall admission price of general tickets.
