How to find Arceus in Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl?
To capture Arceus from Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, players must first defeat Cynthia and complete the main story, after which you must receive the National Pokedex from Oak. You will also need to download the latest update (1.3.0) and save the Pokemon Legends Arceus file with all main story missions completed on your Nintendo Switch device.
The Azure Flute Artifact will arrive in your character’s room once you complete all of these prerequisites. Grab it, then head to the Spear Pillar atop Mount Coronet to begin your encounter with Mythical Arceus. Here is a brief overview of how to capture Arceus from Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl:
⦁ Make sure you have the most recent version of Pokémon Shining Diamond / Shining Pearl.
⦁ Verify that you have been inducted into the Hall of Fame and have the National Pokedex.
⦁ Have a save file for Pokemon Legends Arceus with all main missions done.
⦁ Go to the room where the Azure Flute object is.
⦁ Just in case, make sure Dialga or Palkia are in your team.
⦁ Arceus will spawn if you go to Spear Pillar at the top of Mount Coronet.
It’s a great idea to save Arceus before you fight because it’s your only chance to do so, if you defeat him by mistake you won’t be able to catch him The Japanese announcement states that you must be accompanied by Dialga or Palkia in order to see Arceus, however, the English announcement doesn’t really specify that, so we’re not sure of that step yet. Before trying to take on Arceus, it’s definitely a good idea to add them to the team just in case.
