Pearl, MS (April 19, 2022) – A man was arrested in connection with a traffic accident on Riverwind Drive in Pearl on Saturday morning April 16.
A multi-vehicle accident has been reported near the Home 2 Suites hotel. Local authorities found a 17-year-old girl lying between two cars near the scene. She was transported to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson for treatment.
It was later revealed that the driver of a white Chevrolet Camaro lost control and hit vehicles in the parking lot. The driver was later identified as 19-year-old Jerry Lee Johnson Jr. He was charged with aggravated assault and public intoxication.
