Pearl Thusi found herself on the Twitter trending list last week after commenting on Pabi Cooper’s post. Pabi posted a clip on Instagram asking promoters to book her.

Pearl commented on the post with laughing emojis that got her in hot water because Pabi asked her what she was laughing at. The comment section of the post has since been disabled.
Pearl then went live on Instagram to explain that she was joking. She also revealed that she texted Pabi to apologize.
Pearl explained that she had been absent from Instagram all day and now everyone thinks she is “dragging” Pabi.
“I’m going to live because I haven’t been on Instagram all day. Everyone thinks I’m chasing Pabi Cooper and I’m so sad about it,” she said.
“I really thought she was reserved in Nigeria. She’s killing it right now and when she said it in a Nigerian accent, I thought she was making a joke about being reserved, I thought she was joking, I thought she was flexing on us,” she continued.

It seems that the Queen Sono The star also found herself in hot water over her opinion of the Grammys. She said she didn’t take the awards ceremony too seriously after Wiz Kid left empty-handed, but it happened after South Africa’s favorite DJ, Black Coffee, won a Grammy.
“Wiz not winning a Grammy is another reason I don’t take the Grammys too seriously. It’s a party/fun show with cool statues. African artists have proven they don’t need it , but it’s good to have some. But also, I could be wrong. It’s just me. All love,” she said.
